The Shimano XT BB-MT800 Press Fit Bottom Bracket is designed for riders looking for smooth pedalling efficiency, durability and reliable performance on demanding MTB trails.
Built for Shimano Hollowtech II 24mm MTB cranksets, the BB-MT800 uses smaller, lighter bearings combined with an advanced sealing system to reduce friction while improving mud and water resistance.
Designed around the Press Fit BB92 standard, this bottom bracket fits frames with a 41mm shell diameter and 89.5mm or 92mm shell widths. A supplied 2.5mm spacer allows compatibility with 89.5mm shells.
The fibre reinforced polymer cups help reduce frame noise and protect the frame during installation, while the sealed bearings provide long-lasting smooth performance in harsh riding conditions.
Using Shimano’s proven HOLLOWTECH II technology, the wide bearing placement improves stiffness and power transfer for efficient riding performance on climbs, technical terrain and long rides.
